The board president of the Oregon Association of Collaborative Professionals, reached out to me to do a website redesign on their outdated website with limited capabilities. The objective was to create a simple, clean, and user-friendly website. A place to learn about collaborative professionals and the benefits of membership. Also, it needed a membership platform that was able to have a professional directory of members and give members their own profile page. Handle the collecting of association dues via PayPal, including reminders and notifications. The ability to send out mass emails to its members. Have a visual emphasis on the State of Oregon landmarks. Lastly an event page with the option to sign-up and collect payments for training and/or special events.

The result was an elegantly designed website which achieved all the layout objectives. Furthermore applying the plugin Paid Membership Pro satisfied all the membership needs and has extra tools that can be implemented down the line. In addition, another plugin used was Event Manager; It created a full event calendar page. Plus members were able to add events and have the ability to pay for special events using PayPal. Meanwhile, the board appointed a fellow member with WordPress experience to be in charge of the website. Their responsibilities are to make sure the event calendar is up to date and perform additional updates. They dived in and even completed some color, menu and style changes to the site. It was great working with this client and I look forward to continuing to provide support and assistance when necessary.
